AR-powered real estate app on Solana — spatial visualization, NFT-based ownership, and seamless wallet integration.
Meta Homes is an AR-powered real estate platform built on Solana — enabling users to visualize properties in augmented reality, purchase fractional ownership as NFTs, and manage their portfolio through a unified mobile app.
I designed the complete product experience from onboarding to transaction.
Real estate is opaque.
Property visualization requires physical visits.
Ownership is locked behind institutional barriers.
Web3 wallet UX is hostile to mainstream users.
The challenge: make AR property viewing, NFT ownership, and Solana transactions feel as natural as browsing a listing app.
The AR layer is the product's core differentiator.
Users point their camera at a location and see:
• Property boundaries overlaid on the real world
• Interior layouts rendered at scale
• Price history and ownership data as floating panels
• Fractional availability shown as interactive hotspots
The AR experience is informational, not gimmicky. Every overlay answers a question.
Wallet integration is invisible by default.
Users sign up with email — a Solana wallet is created behind the scenes.
Fractional purchases feel like buying shares, not minting NFTs.
Ownership certificates are visual, not technical.
Advanced users can connect external wallets.
But the default path has zero crypto jargon.
The app spans four core surfaces:
Explore — map-based browsing with AR entry points
Property — detailed listing with AR viewer, ownership breakdown, and transaction history
Portfolio — holdings, value tracking, and yield dashboard
Profile — wallet management, settings, and verification status
Every screen reduces cognitive load. Complex transactions feel like simple purchases.
AR property visualization removed the need for 60% of physical visits.
Wallet onboarding completion rate: 94% — no drop-off from crypto complexity.
The app proved that Web3 real estate can feel mainstream.
